Seriously. I'm not even kidding. We have been planning to move to Idaho Falls for a while now(Sean spent more money on gas last month than we do on our house mortgage!!) and we decided to go ahead and put our house on the market today. Houses always take a few months to sell, right? Wrong!
We signed the papers with our realtor around noon. He took pictures around 2:30. He had everything listed by 4. We had an offer by 8!! It has been crazy and we are still in complete shock.
Oh, but here is the kicker. The couple who are buying are trying to get their kids settled in ASAP with school starting next week, so they offered us our asking price with no contingencies but we have to be out in about 10 days. Yeah. I know. 10 days. But, crazily enough, we are going to take it. We listed our house with a much higher price than what we expected to get out of it knowing that bartering back and forth would lower the price. So, how can you not accept if someone offers the full thing?
So, right now I am not thinking of leaving all of our great friends that we have made in our ward and neighborhood. I am not thinking of all the memories that we have made in our beautiful home. I am not thinking of being further away from family. No, I refuse to think about those things because it makes me too sad. Instead, I will stay focused by packing everything up as fast as I can!

I still can't believe you sold your house that fast...it's insane!!! But I'm happy for you guys...Idaho Falls rocks! You will love it there! Good luck, wish I was closer so I could help because this is going to be a pretty CRAZY TEN DAYS! WAHOO!:)
I totally agree with Noelle. Only taking 4 hours to sale your house is insane!!! I'm so excited for your new adventure though, and glad that we will still live pretty close to each other. If you need help packing you know who to call....I'm a pro!!!

That is awesome. I can hardly believe that it sold so fast. It must of been perfect timing. I am so excited for you and the new house. It is absolutely beautiful. It will be your "home" before you know it. We will have to do some home decor shopping. Did you tell Sean you needed thousands of dollars to redecorate? ha....ha.... Have fun packing. Go get some chocolate and diet Dr. Pepper and you'll be able to make it through the craziness. Love ya!
i've never heard of a house selling that fast! you must live in an awesome part of town. hopefully you can find somewhere just as awesome in idaho falls.
and if you ever make it to michigan, we'll definitely have to go see all the fun stuff around here. but make sure you come in the summer. all the fun stuff is closed all winter long!
