Cute Pictures

I have not been very good about blogging in the last couple months so here is a quick catch-up with some random pictures from my phone...
Paxton is crawling all over the place. He loves to go under the dining room table. If I lose sight of him I know where he is heading :-)

He also has found the stairs...

Taylee playing with her great-grandpa. She has so much fun with him. He was playing "Guess that Tune" on this guitar. Most of the songs are older and she doesn't recognize them, but she still loves to cuddle up to him and try to guess :-).

They also were playing with this toy monkey that works like a sling shot. Taylee would laugh hysterically when he shot it backwards at himself :-). I think he started doing it on purpose just to listen to her laugh.

Here is also a picture of Paxton with my grandfather. Despite hearing from everybody that Paxton looks EXACTLY like Sean (which is basically true), I LOVE that Paxton was blessed with the Gneiting hands! I thought this was a good pic showing how big my grandpa's hands are. My dad's hands are the same way. And Pax's hands are gi-normous! They are almost the same size as Bryn's. I love seeing my genes that were contributed to my son since he is a blue-eyed, blond-haired baby :-)

Also, here is a pic of Pax in his big-boy seat. Yes, I know we are a couple months early, but as you can see, he is HUGE! We were told that since he was over the 20 lb weight limit, hanging OUT both sides of his baby seat, and was able to sit unsupported that he was safer in a front-facing car seat. So, here he is.

My little family is doing wonderful. I just learned that I can pick up a Kindergarten packet next week. MY LITTLE GIRL IS GOING TO KINDERGARTEN! I'm so excited and petrified at the same time :-) Taylee is ready to go. She loves pre-school, but wants to read! We are working on small words---cat, dog, stop, red, etc---, but it is not enough for her anymore :-) We are keeping her preoccupied for now with dance and soon-to-be soccer. Taylee is my sweetheart. She is so innocent and kind to everyone! Oh, how I love my little/big girl! (And just as a side note, I did a height calculator with her measurements and she is going to be 5'9!)

Brynlee, Brynlee, Brynlee. I love my Bryn-zilla. She fills my life with laughter and mischeviousness. She is convinced that if she says "Please mommy" enough that she will get anything she wants. And when she doesn't get it, the alligator tears come :-( . She wants to do everything that Taylee does. She cries when Taylee goes to preschool. When I explain to her that she has to be 5 to play soccer, she tells me she is 5. In fact, I think her two favorite phrases right now are "Please mommy!" and "Me too!" She is learning her letters and numbers right now and can spell about half of her name :-) Brynlee loves her nursery class at church. Almost daily, I catch her singing "I Am A Child Of God" or "Jesus Wants Me For A Sunbeam." Whenever we sing "Wheels on the Bus" or "Five Little Monkeys" she tells me, "My teacher sings that!" When I ask her why she is being a turkey, her response is usually, "Gobble, gobble, gobble." She makes me laugh and pull my hair out at the same time!

My baby boy is no longer a baby. Paxton is over 25 lbs and is wearing 18-24 month clothes. He can actually wear 12 month shirts, but I have to buy the larger pants because his legs are SO long! He is crawling all over the house looking for different places to pull himself into a standing position. He no longer wants to eat baby food (except Bananas). He wants MY food. He is saying "mama" and "dada". And he is getting MORE teeth! Bleh! Paxton is my laughing machine. He laughs constantly. He has a real laugh that is a high pitched squeal and a fake laugh that sounds like a cough. Oh, he is fun! I just can't believe how fast he has grown.

There is the not-so-quick catch-up on the Kress Family :-)

Dinner

ME: I'm going to start making dinner (No, I don't usually simply announce this, but I can't remember how this conversation really started)
TAYLEE: What are we having?
ME: You probably don't want to know, Taylee.
Silence
TAYLEE: I want something else.

1st Half of The Week with Bryn-zilla

1. Yogurt "flying" onto the dining room wall
2. Poop (yes, poop!) smeared on the towel, toilet paper, and her hands
3. Eating a chicken nugget off of the WalMart floor...I have no idea where it came from (and I don't want to really think about it) and then screaming for about a minute when I made her spit it out
4. Sayings like, "The poop won't come out Mommy. Its hiding."
5. And to top it all off, pushing her cousin off of a cardboard table and then blaming him for it! Sorry Asher!!
And this does not include all of the funny, exasperating, crying, laughing moments in between. Gotta love a 2 year old!!
