New Store

Sean's new store in Rexburg opened today and we are so excited. Between lease agreements, jealous competitors, and constant trips to Rexburg it has been a serious pain! But it has been well worth it cuz it looks awesome!

Here is the front of the store. It always takes a while to get signs approved by Verizon, so until that hectic process is done, a banner will do, right?

Here is the 'before' shot. It was a T-Mobile store, hence the pink and grey walls :-). This was the night that Sean and I pulled carpet up for three hours! We had to stop about five feet from the front door because there was 'rock carpet.' Sounds pretty cool, right? WRONG. It was tiny pebbles glued to the cement! It took Sean and two other men almost a full day to chisel that stuff away. So, please never ever use rock carpet!
Here is an 'after' picture, though it is not the best angle (I really should have been at your class, Cami!). This was the night that we cleaned all the construction stuff out, organized the inventory and office supplies, and scrubbed everything down. We had the girls with it, and I'm not sure if they were more help or hinderance...oh well, it was still a lot of fun to do it together.

Here is just a side note to the new location. This is the view from the front sidewalk. And whenever I see it I have to smile. This is Carousel Court!! This is where I spent my first year at Ricks College/BYUI!! I have the best memories there. Great roommates, great friends, great school. I seriously loved it! Not to mention, my first kiss with Sean was on that deck...wow, that was a long time ago!

Oh the memories of Carousel Court. I think I had a couple of kisses out on the deck. Good times....wink, wink. I am glad the store is up and going. It looks awesome. See you tomorrow!

The store looks awesome! It is definately a great location for all the college students at BYU-I. And I too have to agree with the kissing from that deck :)

Nice store...nothing like a little sweat equity...I don't think I've ever heard or seen rock carpet...it doesn't sound like a fun thing to pull out! Congrats!
