I love the things that Taylee says! She is hilarious, even when she doesn't mean to be. It seems that sometimes when you hear remarks out of a child's mouth you realize how stupid the things that we say truly are.
Yesterday we went to Idaho Falls to do a preliminary walk-through of the house that we are purchasing...the contractor is awesome and he is pushing all of his subs to get it done so we can move in next Tuesday. Yea!! We won't be homeless! Anyway, we had planned on taking the girls out to lunch in Idaho Falls after we were done, but as we were finishing the walk-through we got a call from the people buying our Poky house. They wanted to do the final walk-through...in three hours. (The thought going through my mind was, "Wait a second, do you want me to be out of here in a week, or do you want my house to look perfect today? Cuz you can't have both :-) We did a quick stop to get lunch and explained to Taylee that we weren't going to a restaurant. We were going to eat on the road. Taylee got a really quiet for a minute as she thought about this.
And then the little goofball said, "Daddy, I don't want to eat on the road."
Sean, "Why not?"
Taylee,"I'll have to move every time a car comes and then my fries will fall and get dirty."
Needless to say, Sean and I both started laughing, which helped ease the craziness that we have both been feeling. We then explained to Taylee what we meant by "on the road."
I love my girls. They have been so awesome as we are packing. Taylee is so excited about moving to our 'big house' in Idaho Falls (No, the house is not that much bigger than what we are in now. Its just what Taylee calls it). She already has her room picked out and is happy that we will have a park across the road from us.
Brynlee is doing great too. Just as a side-note. She is saying so many things now and understands so much of what we say to her. I love that she understands, "Put that back." It has come in handy . She is learning body parts. Her favorite is belly-button, to which she lifts her shirt all the way above her head and says "be-y bu." She is going through a shoe-obsession stage and I constantly find her putting on everyone elses shoes and walking around with a huge grin on her face. She is awesome and I love that she is happy 24-7. She smiled all the time, especially when she is doing something she knows she shouldn't (like climbing on the dining room table!!).

I can't believe you almost made Taylee eat on the road! How rude! JK. I would have laughed hysterically too. I'm glad that Taylee is so excited to move...that will make the move a little bit easier.
