Christmas 2010

We spent Christmas in our house in Idaho Falls. We spent Thanksgiving in Utah by ourselves and...well, it was boring. So we decided to spend Christmas with family in Idaho. It was interesting to sleep in sleeping bags, and to cook without my normal kitchen items, but we had a great time.
We celebrated my Grandpa Gneiting's 80th birthday, hosted a BSU party, and then spent Christmas Eve with Sean's parents and family.

The kids walking into the living room

The girls were so excited about their presents. They each got one big gift from Santa. Taylee received "BigFoot". He is such a funny toy! Why didn't they have such cool stuff when I was a kid?? And Brynlee received a PUPPY that she can walk! I know, what a shocker :-) Brynlee is just a bit puppy-crazy.

Me and my buddy, Pax

We had a great Christmas spent with family and friends. And did I mention that we had 2 ear infections and 3 broken bones while in Idaho? Paxton was one bone and both ear infections and Sean was the other 2 bones. My poor hubby played basketball a couple of morning with our old ward. His hand got swatted at and somehow he completely shattered the end bone of his right ring finger and had a hammer-fracture on the middle bone. I truly do not know how he got injured so badly by a hand swat, but it is definitely one of his talents. lol! He is super competitive and can never play half-way. Oh, Pax had a simple hairline fracture on his foot from a stumble down a couple stairs...we're really not sure how his foot was fractured from it. He is like his daddy---very gifted in being injured in the craziest ways :-)

Brook, I have SO missed your posts. Sounds like you have had an eventful holiday season. Glad you got to spend it with your family. Maybe next year...a few less injuries :)

Looks like Christmas was a lot of fun. So has anyone in your family not broken a bone? You guys have a pretty good record going.
