Temple Square

Before Christmas we took our family to Temple Square to see the Christmas light. It took forever to get there, forever to find a parking space, it was freezing cold, and it was compeltely worth it!

The lights were beautiful. My children laughed and giggled. Taylee loved the the red lights. Brynlee loved the pink.

And of course, the highlight of the trip to Temple Square was climbing to the top of the Visitors Center. When my children saw the Christus statue they just stared in awe. I love how simple and pure their testimonies are. I was getting frustrated about some of the people who were so inconsiderate, pushing around us, climbing on things they shoudln't, parents ignoring their rowdy children. But my kids didn't even pay attention to the chaos around us. They simple smiled at the statue of Jesus and told their mommy how much Jesus loves all of us. I love having children. They are constantly teaching me about life.

I love Temple Square. It is so beautiful. I'm glad you and your family had a good time even with all the chaos. We had a similar experience, except we ended up in the tabernacle while choirs were singing and it was like angels were there. Welcome back to the world of blogging. I've missed you.
