Slave Labor

Taylee wants/needs a 'big' bike. Brynlee wants a scooter. I am such a mean mommy and I am making them earn 'kid bucks' in order to buy them (Thanks for the idea Noelle!!). They get 1 Kid Buck a day for doing their normal chores. And they can earn more by doing extra chores or by good behavior. Taylee has to earn 100 Kid Bucks to get a bike. With all the yard work and spring cleaning that we have been doing at our house and at Grandma's, she has been raking in the cash. Literally :-)

(She is over halfway to her Kid Buck goal! Good Job Taylee!!

I know when Brynlee has worked hard because she passes out on the couch at 2 in the afternoon.

Soccer

Taylee started soccer again. She is so excited and can't wait to have a game. She loves soccer and has one of her favorite friends on her team. Aren't they so cute in their uniforms!!!

***Guess who did not volunteer, but somehow ended up being the coach??? Yep, you guessed it. Me. Oh well. Practice was a lot of fun and the kids smiled the whole time. 5 year olds don't care whether you know anything about soccer or not :-)

Happy Birthday Sean!!

Sean turned 31 this last week. Crazy to think that we have spent a decade of birthdays together!! I love you Sean!!!

This birthday was pretty mellow compared to last year, but the kids had a great time celebrating daddy's birthday. They got to pick out cards and presents for him(Brynlee picked out a lion birthday card that actually roared!). He also got tickets to the Final Round of the US Open in June. Lucky Boy! (Check out Pax grinning in the corner. Oh, he is cute!)

That is a HUGE smoke cloud. Wow, Sean is getting old :-)

I Love Spaghetti!!

Trip to Mexico

My Mom invited all of her grandkids to go on a "day-trip" to Mexico with her. They had a great time learning about Mexico.

All the grandkids doing the Mexican Hat Dance

Brynlee was SOOOOO excited!

Thanks Mom!! My kids had a great time and they can't wait to go to Alaska!
