Crazy Munchkins

I love my little girls! They drive me absolutely crazy at times, but they are the cutest little kids ever. We spent the day yesterday at my parents house and let Taylee and Brynlee play with their cousins that are in town for Thanksgiving and we has so much fun...don't get me wrong, it was a bit nutty at times, but we still loved it.

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. On Wednesday night we got together with my family (-Heather's family :-( to eat soup and play games. The babies went to sleep early and the older kids got to have a sleepover (It was so nice to actually be able to play games. Usually I am too busy chasing Taylee and Bryns around :-). We had so much fun playing Imaginiff (though sometimes you learn a little too much about what people think of you in this game) and then Mormon Bridge (which my dad crushed us all!). I love spending time with my family and I wish that they all lived closer so we could do game nights more often!
For Thanksgiving we went to Sean's parents house. My mother-in-law is a fantastic cook and being pregnant I was very excited to eat her food (ok,ok, I would have been excited even not being pregnant, but I have to pull out the prego-card once in a while :-). So, thank-you Shari for making a great meal! It was delicious!

Baby Pics!!!

I just got back from my first doctor's appointment. Is it just me, or is there such a sense of relief when you get to hear that heartbeat for the first time? I went from just 'being pregnant' to 'I'm having a baby.' Its crazy!
It was a bit scary at the time, but I ended up getting an ultrasound because I was measuring really small. (Sorry to those who were trying to call me or text me, I would have answered if I could have) And don't worry, the baby is the perfect size. I think I just carry babies really funny. I know that I will measure small after 30 weeks (they tend to hide in my ribs or something :-), I just was not expecting it to happen already. So, I got to see my little gummy-bear. It even waved at me! I loved it! And to a certain sister, sorry, but no twins.
I know people keep asking, so I will do a general note for everyone. I am feeling great! This pregnancy is seriously easier than I remember the others being. I've been a little sick, but it is already going away. I don't think the nausea went away with Taylee and Bryns until I was at least 15 weeks. This is wonderful and I feel very lucky!

When Are Toddlers Old Enough...

We just got back from taking our two girls to Madagscar 2. I definitely give it two thumbs up. It was a little slow at times, but both Sean and I were laughing at the humor that was thrown in and Taylee came out of it singing the song "I like to move it."

But Bryns was a pill. I thought that with the bribes of popcorn and candy she would be an angel, but alas, that was not the case. Sean ended up missing about 20 minutes of the movie walking with her in the hallways until she finally fell asleep. What a stinker :-)

So, when is it that a child is old enough to go to the movies? Apparently 18 months is still too young. Perhaps next summer Brynlee will enjoy them...but then we will be starting over with another baby...hmm.

Oh well. It was a great movie, though it was PG for a reason. Nothing bad, just some of the humor was geared to adults (the best example would be the line "tune in Tokyo").

Halloween Festivities Night #3: Halloween

I did a horrible job taking pictures on Halloween! I seriously took 2! But, despite my horrible pic-taking skills, we had a great night. I got to catch up with so many family members that I never see enough of (yes, that is a hint that we need to get together more!) and I got to end the night with catching up with old friends from our last ward. Our new neighborhood has 4 houses in it right now so we decided to take our candy to Pocatello and go trick-or-treating in our old neighborhood (my in-laws live in that neighborhood so we planned the night so that we would end up there). It was a wonderful Halloween!
So, here are my pathetic 2 pics:

Halloween Festivities Night #2: Ward Party

Our ward Halloween Party was a blast! It is always weird going to these parties when you have NO idea who anyone is, but the activities were so much fun and I was so impressed with all the time and effort that had gone into the party.Whack-a-Scout (I think this was Taylee's favorite)

Pumpkin Park

Aunt Deann called me with a great activity for the girls in Shelley. So, last Thursday I took my girls to what we called "Pumpkin Park." Some very creative people had created art pieces out of pumpkins. The girls loved it!
