(1st row-Aubree and Gideon, 2nd-Keegan and Taylee, 3rd- Brynlee and Asher)
When the kids arrived in Hawaii, they were escorted to a "beach" area where they learn how to do a hula dance.
(Bryns really got into the hip shaking:-)
After the hula lesson, they attended a Luau with roasted pig (hot dogs). Grandma also had a volcano activity where they built volcanoes (out of playdough) and then they got to watch them erupt (with baking soda and vinegar).
Last, but not least, they went snorkeling in the hot tub with these sea animals that Grandma gave them.
The kids then returned home on the airplane (with more juice, snacks, and another in-flight movie). Taylee and Brynlee had so much fun on their trip with Grandma and Grandpa. In fact, when I asked Taylee if she wanted to go to Sea World (we have been talking about going to San Diego this fall) or to Hawaii on our next family vacation, she said Hawaii.
Thanks again Mom and Dad! Can't wait til next year!

you are so lucky to have such fun parents, what creativity!!!
I will have to remember that idea on a rainy day!
It was as much fun preparing and anticipating the different reactions as it was to actually do. We loved spending this crazy teaching moment with our grandkids!!
How fun. Looks like the kids all had a ball.
What cute Grandparents!!! That is a day to remember.
