There is an awful, horrible cold going around. Sean had it, then Taylee had it, and now I have it (We are such a good family. We share everything!). I finally have my voice back today, though it still sounds like I am going through puberty or something. :-) I'm not sure if Bryns has it. She is on ANOTHER ear infection and so she is just miserable anyway.
She is scheduled to get tubes put into her ears next Wednesday. I'm trying not to think about it too much. The idea of my sweet little baby going to the hospital, being put under, and having surgery...I just really don't like it. But, then I change her diaper (which has a horrible rash from her antibiotics) or I stay up with her all night because she is miserable and the surgery-concept becomes a tad bit more likable.
Taylee is really enjoying soccer. She had another practice today. I coached during the practice (which was really interesting since I know soooo much about soccer). So, the kids and I basically ran a lot...well, some of the kids ran a lot. Some spun in circles. Some sat and picked grass. You gotta love 3-year olds. They are hilarious! One of the kids told me that he couldn't kick without his "Lightning McQueen" shoes. (His mother had no idea what those were)
Sean has a big golf tournament tomorrow. He is so funny. As we were driving home from Poky tonight, he was so quiet that I was concerned he was falling asleep. After getting one-word answers for a few minutes, I asked him if he was ok. He told me that he was playing golf in his head and was trying to concentrate on how to improve his score....yeah, he is that much of a golfer. I have a hard enough time playing nine holes for real, much less in my head!
So wish us all luck on getting better (Best of luck to all of you who have caught this horrible bug!). And now that I have home internet, I will start posting more regularly:-)

Hey Sean, i played you and Ed in my head last night. I chipped in on 18 to beat you by one. Good luck in the tourney and you guys feel better.
Being sick stinks! I'm sorry for the horrible nights with Bryns. Surgery is never fun, especially with kids. All you do is worry the whole time. With Asher's surgery I just remember trying to convince myself that the surgery was good (which it was). And I thought to myself "if he doesn't have this surgery things could get worse and he will be in even more pain". I'm sure Brynlee's surgery will go great...but I understand the worry and anxiety you are feeling...and I'm afraid nothing I can tell you will make it go away :). Just keep thinking of how much better she will feel when she has NO MORE ear infections!
I can just picture Taylee's soccer practice with kids running every direction and others staring into space...I bet you had a smile on your face the whole time :) Good luck coaching her soccer game on Saturday!!!
I'm so sorry you're all sick...I HATE this bug going around...it will not leave!!! Good luck with the surgery...Bryns will do great and in the end, she will feel TONS better! Just think- full nights sleep, no more antibiotics, no more diaper rash...now those are happy thoughts! Love ya - give your girls a hug for me!
What a bummer...don't pass it this way!!!
Maybe we should practice being better moms in our heads :)
