Harvest

Every year I take my kids out to ride the combine with my dad during harvest. It was something that I always loved to do as a child. My dad teaches them so much about harvest and where their favorite foods come from. He is an amazing grandfather!

We also went to see my grandfather's horses. My kids LOVE horses.

Provo Mall Train

Lots of fun! Paxton LOVES trains and said "choo-choo" for the entire ride. So cute!

Hello Utah

Last week we moved to Lehi, UT for a 10 month stay. The house that we are renting is above Cabellas on Traverse Mountain. I have beautiful views from my kitchen...

And we have already spotted a ton of deer from our front porch...

Taylee has already made a bunch of friends at school and in church. She is my little social bug and loves it here. The ward is HUGE (they have had 21 new families move in since July) and there are 4 nurseries (Paxton gets to go in 2 weeks!!! Not that I am counting down or anything :-) And Brynlee's best friend lives a mile away so she is perfectly happy.

Goodbye Idaho

After the mover came and boxed all of our stuff, Taylee insisted that we needed to get lunch cuz "moving is exhausting." Poor gal, watching other people work IS hard work. Haha!

And Pax was a monkey...picture will come when I find it...

Corn maze

Shelley had a corn maze this year. Yes, it was pricey ($20 for our family to go), but it was well worth it. The girls has a blast (especially since they got a map!).

Taylee and Bryns loved riding on this.

Taylee turns 6

Taylee turned 6! She is becoming such a little grown-up. She loves to do art projects, play soccer, dance, sing, play golf with daddy, and is now learning to play the piano. She is our little all-star. Everything she tries she is amazing at. She is the best big sister to Brynlee and Paxton, always watching out for them, reading stories to them, and keeping them out of trouble (except when she is leading them into trouble...). She is my little helper and I don't know what I would do without her!! Love you Taylee-babe!!

Taylee in NICU. She was born 5 weeks early and was in NICU for 9 days. As a brand new mother that was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Due to the emergency c-section and Tays being sent immediately to NICU I did not get to see my baby for almost 12 hours. And even then, I only got to hold her every 3 hours. My sympathy always goes out to NICU babies and their mothers. It is a tough time.

1 year old Taylee at the zoo. Oh, she was a cutie!!

This year Taylee had a big birthday party at Leo's place. I let her invite about 15 kids (usually about 2/3 will be able to come), and EVERYONE came. It was one of the most fun, chaotic parties a 6 year old has ever had. Thanks goodness for a good husband who took the baby, a grandmother who watched the 3-yr-old, and a wonderful neighbor who became my extra hands!
