Taylee turns 6

Taylee turned 6! She is becoming such a little grown-up. She loves to do art projects, play soccer, dance, sing, play golf with daddy, and is now learning to play the piano. She is our little all-star. Everything she tries she is amazing at. She is the best big sister to Brynlee and Paxton, always watching out for them, reading stories to them, and keeping them out of trouble (except when she is leading them into trouble...). She is my little helper and I don't know what I would do without her!! Love you Taylee-babe!!

Taylee in NICU. She was born 5 weeks early and was in NICU for 9 days. As a brand new mother that was one of the hardest things I have ever done. Due to the emergency c-section and Tays being sent immediately to NICU I did not get to see my baby for almost 12 hours. And even then, I only got to hold her every 3 hours. My sympathy always goes out to NICU babies and their mothers. It is a tough time.

1 year old Taylee at the zoo. Oh, she was a cutie!!

This year Taylee had a big birthday party at Leo's place. I let her invite about 15 kids (usually about 2/3 will be able to come), and EVERYONE came. It was one of the most fun, chaotic parties a 6 year old has ever had. Thanks goodness for a good husband who took the baby, a grandmother who watched the 3-yr-old, and a wonderful neighbor who became my extra hands!

My Boy

Paxton is ALL boy. If there is something to throw, he will throw it. If there is a sister to hit, he will do it. If there is a toy that he can make growl, he will. If there is dirt to play in...

Brynlee and Meg

Brynlee loves puppies. She talks about puppies. She asks for puppies. She wishes for puppies. Puppies. Puppies. Puppies. Yep, you get the picture. Here is a picture of Bryns with our not-so-much-a-puppy, Meg.

Meg is missed a ton by our family right now, but we are very grateful for such a sweet aunt and uncle who are dog-sitting for us!

Bryn's 1st Day of Preschool

Bryns started preschool in September. She only got to go for a month, but she loved Miss Kris and is hoping that she can go next year:-) Can you believe how big that backpack is compared to her???

Eastern Idaho State Fair

My kids love the fair! It is one of their favorite activities of the fall, exerecially since we get to visit daddy their. But, if daddy is getting bored, weird things happen. Like Taylee getting dressed as a phone...

Taylee and Bryns love getting their faces painted at the fair. It has become a tradition that cannot be skipped.

Grandma Gneiting worked in the quilting building this year. Taylee and Bryns were SO excited to show her their faces.

And what would the fair be without McKee's petting zoo?

Taylee participated in the jr. tractor pull and even made it to the finals. Go Taylee-babe!!

And here is Bryns cheering Taylee on.

1st Parade

We took the kiddos to the parade that kicks off the Eastern Idaho State Fair. It was their first parade and they LOVED it! Especially the candy!

Waving to the horses.

First Day of School in Kindergarten

Taylee started in kindergarten at Sunnyside Elementary in August. The little cutie was so excited she could barely sleep! I got to go to the first day of class with her. Together we did a scavenger hunt in which we found a bunch of stuff in the classroom, met the teacher, put all of her supplies away and did a couple of craft projects. I LOVED being a part of it. It made the second day of dropping her off a lot easier. Also, she has a TON of her little friends in class (Including the cute little boy who lives across the street that Taylee says is her boyfriend!)
