Lincoln City Beach

We went to Lincoln Beach to let the girls play. Taylee had been talking about making a sandcastle since the moment we told her we were going to the Oregon Coast. They had their pails and were ready to get started :-)

Poor Paxton had to just sit in his seat. He is such a good baby!

Sean made Brynlee go back out into the water for another picture. As you can tell, she held her little legs up as high as she could. She did not want to get wet.

But then Sean forced her to get wet
And she was mad.

The beach was a blast and I wish that it would have been closer to our resort so we could have gone a few more times. That was the only complaint that we had about the resort that we stayed at, the closest sandy beach was about 5 miles away. But I won't complain too much since the views with the rocky cliffs were beautiful :-)

Oregon Trip

I'll keep posting more in the next few days. We had so much fun and got some great pics!

Newport Aquarium

We went to the Newport Aquarium with the kids. Its the aquarium that was made for the whale that starred in Free Willie. Millions of dollars were donating to making it and it was amazing. We all had a great time!

Swimming

We went swimming every night in Oregon. All of the kids had so much fun in the water, especially Taylee. She loved every minute in the pool and couldn't get enough of the pools.

Taylee finally got into the pool without her lifejacket and learned how to float on her back. She only lasted about 5 seconds, but she was so proud of herself.

Depoe Bay Resort

We stayed in Depoe Bay and it was beautiful! We had the best view from our balcony. We saw 6 whales and countless sea lions playing in the bay.

Portland Zoo

We left Ontario about 3:00 with all intentions on stopping in Pendleton for the night. But we didn't. And after Pendleton there was NOTHING! The only hotels that we could see were a bit scary so we kept going, and going, and going, until we reached Portland! That was a long day, but the kids did great and Taylee was so excited cuz she finally got to go swimming!

Despite the long drive in the car, Paxton still slept through the night! Yea!!

Baby Blessing in Ontario

Sean's sister blessed her baby in Ontario (which is close to Boise) so we stopped there for our first night and went to church with them. It was so much fun to see Brad and Nicole who are in Las Vegas at school. My kids have missed them and were so excited to see them again. Brad did a beautiful job on the blessing and it was easy to see what proud parents they are! And Carson is such a cutie! I can't wait for Nicole to come visit so I can get to know him better!
