Sunday Morning Conversation

Taylee: Mommy, you're tummy is getting so big (uh...thanks)
Mommy: Yep, the baby is getting bigger.
Taylee: You're tummy is so big you can't do dishes anymore.
Mommy: Really? Who is going to do dishes then?
Taylee: (thinking about it) Daddy.

So, no more dishes for me 'til June, right?

Counting

I know that I've been blogging A LOT! But, I just think my girls are so stink'n cute and I want to remember all the things that they did while growing up. Here is a video of Bryns. I have caught her recently counting up to as high as 10. She messes up the numbers quite a bit and it is all in her toddler gibberish, but I finally caught it on tape as she counted her 5 doggies that she had thrown on the floor (Warning: She really like the #4).

In Case You Didn't Notice...

According to the baby ticker I am down to the double digits! 99 days to go! I am excited! The best thing is that since this will be yet another c-section I will be holding my sweet little baby even sooner!
I love parts of being pregnant (feeling the baby kick, being able to eat an extra helping without feeling guilty about it), but there are lots of parts that I just don't like (not being able to sleep on my stomach, gaining weight, and being so stink'n tired all the time :-)
So, 99 days to go! Hooray!

Slave Labor

Taylee, Bryns and I took lunch into Sean today. I walked into the backroom for a moment and when I walked back out this is what I saw...

Apparently during that moment that I was gone, Taylee and Brynlee had managed to not only leave their handprints all over the shelves, but they also broke one of the dummy (fake) phones. Sean put them to work cleaning the store to pay for it...I'm glad that he wanted to teach them a valuable lesson about not breaking things, it was just a bit ironic coming from the person who wanted to call the police as a kid to turn in his parents for breaking the Child Labor Laws (they were making him pack in wood for their stove :-)

Conversation with a 4-Year-Old...

As Taylee was looking at her chore chart last night, double checking that she had gotten all her check marks for the day, she started to question me...

Taylee: What is Wednesday?
Me: Wednesday is the name for tomorrow.
Taylee: What is tomorrow?
Me: Tomorrow is what comes after we go to bed and wake-up. Tomorrow is Wednesday.
Taylee: Oh. But what is Wednesday?
Me: Wednesday is the name of the day that comes tomorrow.
Taylee: But what is tomorrow?

You get the idea. Eventually I distracted her with a Smartie (Oh, yeah, I pulled out the big guns because I was about to pull my hair out :-). Gotta love these four year olds!

Princess Party

Taylee attended a Princess Party at Snake River High School today with her cousin Aubree. They had so much fun! Between getting make-up put on them and eating cupcakes, they were both in seventh heaven the entire time. It was a great production put on by SRHS, I just wish that they would have had more Disney Characters. The few that were there (Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, Aladdin) were a HUGE hit with all the little girls. If they could have had more, especially of Disney Princesses, it could have been that much better. Despite this, Taylee had a great time with all the activities that she got to do and has been so excited to tell everyone about her "princess party".

Decorating a tiara. She adamently refused to let me help and wrote her name and made stars with the glitter glue all by herself...unfortunately, she used A LOT of the glitter and I am hoping that sometime in the next decade it will dry :-)

VERY involved at the Cinderella Sing-Along. Taylee was such a cutie and every time Cinderella would ask a question her hand would pop into the air as high as she could reach, even if she didn't know the answer. She is a lot like her daddy and she LOVES to talk to everyone:-)

The Curse...

...of Curly Hair!! Sorry Bryns. You definitely get this from my genes. It can be really cute, especially on a little girl as cute as you...but wow! After a nap, it is completely out of control!
